About me

I'm Mahmud. Software for ISPs and WISPs is the job title, but a good chunk of my week is spent in network configs, not code editors.

On the billing side, two separate things: custom billing system I built from scratch, and a long list of plugins and payment gateway integrations for PHPNuxBill - OLT management, data usage tracking, advance hotspot system, reward and loyalty system, bKash, PayPal, Stripe, Crypto, etc handful of other local and global payment solutions, both for both PHPNuxBill and its hotspot system. PHP, Python, Go, whatever the langs needs.

On the network side its EPON, GPON, XPON or any other vendor depending on the deployment. MikroTik RouterOS, Cisco, pfSense. Multi-WAN failover, OLT/ONU configuration, VLANs, monitoring, etc. OSPF, BGP, RSTP and other routing protocols. Creating and managing network infrastructure for ISPs and WISPs from scratch, including fiber and wireless networks, and ensuring their smooth operation.

Been doing this for a few years now. Most of what I've learned came from a billing bug turning out to be a network problem, or the other way around. Backend and networking are my comfort zone.

Frontend I leave to people who actually enjoy it.
